Who we are

Art Really Talks is an evolving comedy project created by Jesse Rosenberg.

What started as an experiment—placing improvisors inside the world of a painting—has grown into a living, collaborative show shaped by the artists and performers who step into the frame.

There is no Art Really Talks without its contributors.

From early collaborators like Stuart Cameron, Chelsea Taymes, Megan Lee, Louis Birdsong, Lala Guerrero, and to the many Austin improvisors, actors, musicians, and artists who continue to shape the work, this show is built by community.

Art Really Talks exists in a few forms:

  • Private shows, built around duo paintings and character-driven scenes

  • Live performances, where paintings are brought fully to life on stage

Each version begins the same way. A piece of art and the question of what it might say if given a voice.
